Professor fired for peeping up schoolgirl's skirt to lecture at another university - MSN-Mainichi Daily News

NAGOYA -- Former Waseda University graduate school professor Kazuhide Uekusa, who has been convicted of using a mirror to look up the skirt of a high school girl, has been hired to teach at another university.

Officials at Nagoya University of Commerce and Business said on Wednesday that they would invite Uekusa to the school's graduate school as a visiting professor.

Uekusa, 45, will lecture on "national economic strategy."

He was arrested for trying to peep up the skirt of a high school girl in April 2004 and the Tokyo District Court found him guilty.

"It's a waste of talent if Mr. Uekusa's skills go unused," said an official of the graduate school of the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business.

Uekusa will deliver lectures at the school's campus in Nagoya in July and in the Marunouchi office in Tokyo in December.

About 30 students, mostly company employees and managers who want to earn an MBA degree, are expected to attend. (Mainichi)
